Workers' Comp / Injury
No one expects to be hurt on the job, but if that happens, it is important to be prepared. If you have an on-the-job injury, please seek medical care immediately. Please bring an Authorization Form from your company and your First Report of Injury (FROI). Having these documents will ensure that you receive immediate medical care with no delay. CADUCEUS is committed to your full medical recovery. We will work with you to return your health to your pre-injury state. We are available 24/7/365 to answer your questions, clarify your treatment plan, and dedicate all our medical resources to you.
Physical Therapy
If you have a musculoskeletal workplace injury, you may benefit from physical therapy. Physical therapy is designed to supplement your medications and treatment plan to shorten your recovery time. CADUCEUS Physical Therapy focuses on restoring your full range of motion and functional ability.
Independent Medical Examinations
Employees may benefit from an IME if their medical improvement has stalled or if they are concerned that their diagnosis is not correct. An injured worker may request an IME from their workers' compensation Adjuster or their employer. The goal of the IME is to help the injured employee return to their full health. Our goal, at CADUCEUS, is to fulfill our commitment to helping every injured employee regain their pre-injury level of function and lack of pain. To that end, CADUCEUS will explore every potential treatment option to deliver to every injured employee their full opportunity for a normal life. We understand that a workplace accident is unexpected, and we will work with you to maximize your recovery and health.
Physical Examinations
As an investment in you and your safety in the workplace, your employer may send you for a physical examination. An examination guarantees that you are being medically evaluated to ensure you are fit for a work position. These services, which can be performed throughout the lifecycle of your career, are designed to assess and improve your health, ensuring that you will be productive in your role.
Drug & Alcohol Testing
Drug testing is used as a medical mechanism to determine if drug use or misuse is occurring in the workplace. If you're currently taking any medications, let us know to ensure accurate testing results at the time of testing. An employer will often use this form of testing to guarantee a safe and hazard-free work environment for you and your colleagues. Periodic drug testing can mitigate avoidable workplace injuries.
